Met a friend halfway. That put us in the University District at one of Seattle’s oldest craft beer establishments, Big Time Brewery & Alehouse. I tend to make it to Big Time four/five/six times a year. Usually for their special or seasonal releases (e.g., Whiny the Complainer, Old Wooly, Breakfast Cereal Killer).
This night, I enjoyed a Random Thought Generator (Imperial rye) and the pictured Old Rip Oatmeal Stout—an outstanding stout with tons of flavor for a 3.75% ABV beer.
